Sigal S/S Tricuspid 7mm Shaft

Spear Shafts & Heads by Sigal

Made from Swedish Sandvic Stainless Steel, the world's strongest corrosion-free shaft material. Sandvic steel approaches and often equals the Rockwell Hardness of the often used black high carbon steel shafts, typically from South Africa. No longer do you have to sacrifice strength for rust-resistence; now you can have both in the one shaft. No more rust marks on your gun, equipment or boat! The finest Italian engineered shafts in the world.

Single downward facing flopper 1mm thick, 80mm long and a rebated 7mm shaft means the flopper sits in for hydrodynamics. Penetration cone on all shafts eliminates the "shoulder" normally found where the flopper attaches, giving the shaft greater ability to penetrate with ease. Short rounded pins are very low profile giving minimal resistance through the water and smooth so they won't damage dyneema bridles. Minimum of 3 pins per shaft. Comes with a standard hole near the mechanism cutout for attaching shooting line and two additional holes to allow alternate attaching points outside of the mechanism. Cutout suits all euro style mechanisms.

Hollow ground 3 faced tricuspid tip - the ultimate in sharp penetrating ability. Highly desirable for hunting pelagic species and those reef species that always seem to be out of range or have very hard scales, like snapper and blue-barred orange parrot. This shaft will improve your chances of securing those more difficult to get species.

  • Made from Super strong non-corrosive Sandvic Steel
  • Rockwell hardness 50-52 HRC, mpa 1800-2000
  • Euro style mechanism cutout
  • Single downward 80mm flopper, 1mm thick
  • Short rounded pins suit all bridles
  • Minimum of 3 pins per shaft
  • 7mm diameter shaft
  • Tricuspid hollow ground tip
